The St. Thomas Learning Center

Offering “Quality tutoring at an affordable cost”, the St. Thomas Learning Center, under the direction of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and in cooperation with Baldwin-Wallace College, will provide focused instruction in the area(s) most needed by the student including mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. 

The tutors will be junior and senior Baldwin-Wallace college students from the Division of Education or specially selected B-W students, chosen for their expertise in their academic area.

Tutoring sessions are:

  1. one hour in length
  2. held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 50 E. Bagley Road, Berea, Ohio
  3. Held on Mondays or Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the college calendar year
  4. supervised by an adult from St. Thomas
  5. $20 per hour with a minimum of four one-hour sessions
  6. Due to begin in October, 2010, and operate throughout the academic year
  7. Designed  for students in grades 6-12
